How long deos shipping take?

For our customers located in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom, your orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days. We're proud to offer this reliable standard shipping timeline to these regions.
 

For international deliveries outside of those countries, the transit time may vary a bit more. But no need to worry - we'll be sure to provide you with an estimated delivery window once we have your shipping details, so you'll know when to expect your order.

For our customers in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom, we're pleased to offer free shipping on your order as long as you meet the minimum purchase value. That's our way of saying thank you for shopping with us!

For the rest of the world, the shipping rates are calculated based on your location and the size and weight of your order. Once you enter your shipping details at checkout, we'll provide you with the applicable charges. We always strive to keep our rates as reasonable as possible.

What is your returns policy?

At The Powder Shampoo, we're committed to minimizing our environmental impact, which is why we've carefully considered our returns policy.
 

For hygiene reasons and because our aluminium bottles are refillable, we're unable to accept standard product returns. But that's not all we've also planted trees for every item we've sold, and we strive to discourage unnecessary carbon emissions.


That said, we understand the importance of trying before you buy. That's why we offer mini sizes for every product, allowing you to sample our powderful formulas before committing to a full-size purchase.

Our products are priced higher than traditional liquid shampoos and body washes for a few key reasons:

  1. Sustainable Packaging: Our packaging is 100% plastic-free, made with recyclable aluminum and compostable paper refill pouches. These eco-friendly materials cost significantly more than standard plastic packaging.
     
  2. Premium Vegan & Cruelty Free Formulas: To be certified as vegan and cruelty-free, we are required to have rigorous certification for our premium ingredients, contributing to the higher cost.
     
  3. Concentrated Formulas: Our products are 100% water-free, unlike liquid shampoos and washes that are diluted with over 80% water. This means our concentrated formulas provide up to 10 times more washes per unit, even though the initial price is higher.
     
  4. Reduced Environmental Impact: By eliminating water and plastic, our products have a much lower carbon footprint during manufacturing and shipping, which is reflected in the pricing.
     
  5. A Small Startup's Commitment: As a small, independent brand, we don't have the same economies of scale as larger corporations, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the world, even though it may not be the most profitable path. Are your products SLS & SLES Free?

We're proud to offer a complete lineup of hair and body care products that are 100% free from sulfates / sulphates like SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate).


Sulfates are known to be harsh, stripping cleansers that can often lead to dryness, irritation and an imbalanced skin and scalp. That's why we've carefully curated our powderful products to be SLS & SLES free, ensuring that you can enjoy a luxurious cleansing experience without any unwanted side effects.

What Surfactant do you use for your Products?                    

At The Powder Shampoo, we've carefully selected Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate as our surfactant of choice. This gentle, coconut-derived cleansing agent provides a rich, creamy lather that effectively yet gently removes impurities without stripping the hair and scalp of their natural oils.

 

This premium surfactant is renowned for its mild, non irritating properties, making it an ideal surfactant for even the most sensitive hair and skins. It's also biodegradable and environmentally-friendly, aligning with our commitment to sustainable, responsible formulations.

What is you Expiration Date for your products?

Our products have an excellent shelf life to ensure maximum freshness and efficacy. All of our hair and body care items have a 3-year shelf life from the date of manufacturing. Even after opening, you can enjoy the full benefits of our formulas for up to 2 years. We're dedicated to providing high-quality, long lasting products that you can trust.
